Indeed an F1 teams that exists to go racing doesn't give a toss about winning.

Why did Jenson now hand Lewis 4th then??
Why should he hand his team mate anything? Hamilton finished 20 seconds behind Button who was chasing for a podium! As with all teams, the constructors championship gets priority over the drivers and they had a shot at finishing 3rd and 5th rather than 4th and 5th. To tell Button so slow down and let Hamilton past would have been pretty daft especially as they are only 20 points ahead of Ferrari.
Whoops....that should have read -
Why did Jenson NOT hand Lewis 4th then??
The drivers championship is between Vettel and Alonso now unless both have a rotten run of luck. The sensible thing is for McLaren to concentrate on the constructors and try and secure 2nd.
But Jensons completely out of it and has been for months.
Jenson just can't bare to be told he's number two.
Rather than securing first of course. Championships aren't McLarens bag these days it seems.
They would rather pander the fragile ego's. Why is Button so insecure?

It'll be a pity if Alonso loses the championship by less than say 20 points.
As it could mean that he lost it due to being punted out by Kimi. But that's racing.
