Heh, well, using the green text isn't my thing really, the message is usually clear enough anyway though i think.

Hmm, it is sometimes tempting to re-open stuff but the way that thread was, it was just a completely nuts in there and i'd want to avoid getting back to that.

Just gotta make it to the end of the season and hopefully that line of discussion won't arise any more after that...

A little bit of humor on this thread. But just to illustrate the business aspect of the sport. For anyone that's not an F1 fan, in the US Lewis Hamilton is the only F1 driver they'd be likely to recognize outside of Schumacher. This ad I see just about every time I watch ESPN or SPEED.

What about Mr. Chubby?
And JV?
And now RB?
And Bourdais?
And Andretti?


Ah, you mean current F1 drivers? Ok, I give you that. Though maybe SV by now with 2 world titles and the promotion machine of Red Bull (driving on NJ 'track' and other publicity stunts).

You guys give the American public WAAAY too much credit. I picked up a Red Bull promotional magazine in my doctor's office a few weeks ago. roughly 100 pages and only ONE page had a formula one car in it.

Until I see Vettel peddling something in a commercial like the one above, the average Joe Schmoe won't know who he is.
