A little bit of humor on this thread. But just to illustrate the business aspect of the sport. For anyone that's not an F1 fan, in the US Lewis Hamilton is the only F1 driver they'd be likely to recognize outside of Schumacher. This ad I see just about every time I watch ESPN or SPEED.

And Bourdais?
And Andretti?

You guys give the American public WAAAY too much credit. I picked up a Red Bull promotional magazine in my doctor's office a few weeks ago. roughly 100 pages and only ONE page had a formula one car in it.

Until I see Vettel peddling something in a commercial like the one above, the average Joe Schmoe won't know who he is.
