If I said how gutted and disgruntled I am, it would me a massive understatement. Lewis running away with the race and it ends in tears. How can misfortune strike one driver so frequently in such a brief season? I just wonder, if he hasn't quite finalized his deal with McLaren, does their consistent failures send him a clear message? Having the fastest car doesn't mean a thing if it won't last. Interesting times for the chap. :irked:

Good point - Ferrari havent built the fastest car, but other than a couple of issues in Monza FP+Q they have run perfectly.

To quote Murray Walker "To finish first, first you must finish"

Mr finger gifted the win on the back of Lewis's car failure but let's not forget that Mclaren still have a very fast car,all is not lost.

Pretty weird race. Massa's pass-type-thing on Senna was pretty cool though.

Glad Raikkonen got out of there with 6th place, i expect that this was Lotus' worst track out of the remaining races.

This team has only won 1 WDC in the last 13 years....for me that's message enough. And I hope it is for Lewis as well, there's too much baggage and crap to deal with in this team. Fast cars every year yes, but hardly any WDCs to show for it.

I knew that the extremely irritating loud commentatry whilst the drivers are on the podium: 'At your feet is... the CHAMPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGNEEEEEEEE' :banghead: reminded me of something, and this is it (except this was both funny and cool! :hehe: ).

Btw, noticed something pretty minor, but Glock finished 12th today, not bad going for such a heap of crap car.

I thought it was a good race, plenty of drama, the Sauber drivers must have thought they were in a warzone. Even Pastor Maldonado had a good clean race, had points stolen away from him with mechanical issues. Decent performance from Massa, some very aggressive driving from the Brazilian, Alonso did what he had to do to bring home the bacon. Driver of the day for me is Paul di Resta, scoring a career best fourth place finish. Hamilton was unlucky to suffer a mechanical failure but that's racing; Button had the bad luck last race, Lewis had it this race.

Dear Ferrari, your areodynamics aren't up to much, but you know how to stop things breaking.

Not luck is it, it's a team sport, no point building a fast car that can't finish races. All drivers need the car to perform, although some of you would argue Lewis would win in a HRT.

Lotus using team orders, fair enough I say.

Good race, Ferrari need to get the updates working, mclaren very fast.

One of the issues with McLaren in recent past seasons has been a very slow start with a bad car, then they play catchup and by the end of the year, they are one of the fastest. You can't win anything that way. This year they started off the season with one of the fastest cars, especially in Lewis' hands...but the damn thing is so unreliable. Layererd on top of that are the other issues in the pits and on the pitwall to cost poles, victories and massive points haul. All in all, they are in no position and likely won't win anything for years to come. That's what grinds my gears!

The way certain people were driving today (Hulk/Kobayashi/Pérez/Massa) I wasn't going to be massively surprised if Glock ended up in the points... :hehe:

Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button, the drivers who finished first and second in Sunday night’s Singapore Grand Prix, have been called to the stewards in Marina Bay.

Discussions will relate to the moment in which the two cars, about to restart the race following the first Safety Car, almost collided. At Turn 16, Vettel was warming up his brakes when Button was caught out and narrowly avoided the back of the Red Bull.

“At the restart, Sebastian accelerated and braked and I just didn’t expect such a speed difference, so I braked and locked up and just missed the rear of his car which would have been quite embarrassing!" Button told Eddie Jordan on the podium.

Possible consequences of the meeting are reprimands or time penalties. The driver representative steward is former Toyota racer Allan McNish.

Drive o the day was Massa. Ballsy stuff, kept clean... One o his passes wa very impressive

Other than that... Maldonado was doing pretty good. Kimi did pretty good and the battle with the force india and sauber was pretty cool, until carbon fiber flew. Almost forgot the other force india; P4 not bad.

For some reason, the cars look like they are going slow in this track. But it is a sight to behold.

Well done by the winner.......
