We can never know that now, can we? Vettel's and Grosjean's car stopped working because of the SC period. Here, Vettel had to do the drive through penalty. Maybe that caused the problems.
Haha, now thats childish.Maybe I can do one better. If Vettel had not done the drive through penalty, he might have crashed in turn 1 as his break could have over heated due to the speed he would have come into the corner with. Maybe it did not happen later in the race, but it could be because his brakes cooled down due to the drive through penalty. We can never know that now, can we?
But seriously, who do you think are correct here? You with your sofa F1 experience, or Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert, Anthony Davidson and the stewards (with their ex race car driver)? I think I just leave that one hanging....
As someone wrote, these stewards can’t be held accountable for what other stewards did or did not do in the past (unless, of course, they’re the same people).
