Yes and thank's for asking it mean's alot to me. Lindsay's brain damage is severe so unless we get a miracle, they do happen , she will never be the same. Her mom is moving her into a care facility for about a month until she get's everything back home in California setup for Lindsay. Her mom is going to setup a website for everyone so we can keep track of Lindsay's rehab, condition and progress.

One thing that I find very hopefull is that she notice's people when they walk in the room so this lead's me to think that she does recognize that person and know's who it is which is very comforting.
It's just that darn brain that wont let her talk to us, there is a barrier that hopefully rehab can help her overcome.

I will be going to California as much as possible to see her. That's about it for the moment and I will post update's as they come. Thank you EVERYONE for your concern and for your prayer's. I must end this post now before I cannot see the keyboard if you know what I mean.

I send everyone my gratitude and good thought's for your friendship and kindness during this trying time.

Mate miracles do happen in the medical world, it's people like you that stay close to her and show her nothing but love which act as the enabler.

Well my dearest Lindsay went back home to California last week, alot sooner than expected, which is good for her and her family but you know what this mean's ? It mean's I also must start over again which is very difficult still carrying the torch I bare . Life is a cruel mistress isn't she, back to square one.

Only new's, and thank you for asking my friend I truelly appreciate it, is no new's. She is back home in California with her family and I try to talk with her mom every few week's just to keep up with everything and/or any progress. She suffered to much brain damage for any of us to believe in anything but a miracle.

Oh man I'm missing Lindsay so much right now everyone ! I guess listening to FUEL'S "Fall's On Me" and "Hemorrage" and Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You", our song , I should have know the feeling's I would get but they make me feel close to her. It's funny because I feel such a high and low from them, talk about mixed up right!

I'm about to call her mom, I hope the number still work's. The Beatle's were right all you need is love, nothing else matter's.

Just a quick update:
I just spoke with Evelynn, Lindsay's mom, in California and all is well. Instead of puttting Lindsay into a home she is being taken care of at home. We, Evelynn and I have alot in commen in common now from our experience of taking care of bedridden loved one's.

I wont lie to my friend's here but I have been very very selfish most of my life, without realizing it , and I'm floating at this time between my selfpity and my desperate love for Lindsay, not a good place to be trust me. Anyway I must think of the positive and that is I will be going to spend time with my love in the next month or two! I had nobody to cry to or to hug but my puppy doo MAX was very happy to oblige .

Everyone, all my extended family, has been very supportive during this situation and I can only repay you by saying thank you! I have gotten more support from my friend's here than from anywhere or from anyone else.

I've only just seen this thread today, so apologies, but as DD says, that's better news at least. Also, you don't need to apologise to us. We understand. Finally, I wish there was something I could say to you, but I can't really say anything else other than you, Lindsay and the others are in our thoughts. It's an unpleasant thing to happen to a person at any time, especially so young.
