That's dreadful. Racism this time??
the common response by your garden variety red neck is that it's a god given right.
And these ignorant uneducated people have unlimited access to guns?
It's part and parcel of living in America, gun laws will never change, this sort of incident will happen time and time again...
My family and I were lucky; about two weeks after we moved home, our last next door neighbours boyfriend went postal and shot up the apartment, and half a dozen bullets went through the wall of our old apartment, this happened at a time we would have been at home... I'm so happy we moved away to a better location!

Would someone lose the rights/licence to hold a gun after doing something like that?
SALT LAKE CITY – A Utah man has been charged after police say he tried to shoot a mouse in his pantry and ended up wounding his roommate.
Christian Sunil Paul, of Taylorsville, was charged Monday in Salt Lake City's 3rd District Court with one felony count of discharging a firearm with injury and one misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
Calls to a number listed for Paul were not immediately returned Tuesday.
The 27-year-old told police he was aiming at the rodent during the Dec. 20 shooting, but the bullet went through the pantry and into the bathroom, where it hit Paul's roommate in the shoulder.
The roommate was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Court documents show authorities also found small, empty balloons and burnt tin foil in a bathroom trash can.
So someone gets jailed for being a nutter with a gun and when he/she gets out they hand the gun back to them?
I can understand the difficulties in bringing in gun control laws but surely an instance like that shouldn't have any question.

When that person gets out of jail he can go to any gun show out west and buy a semiautomatic assault rifle no questions asked. But he couldn't buy that semi automatic assault rifle in NY or NJ or a handful of other hard gun control states.
It's a good thing that Americans don't travel across state lines much.
