Good state today. Wiggins and Evans are really on form, the tour has been carnage so far though.

Incredible work by team Sky, yes. Evans looked comfortable though, and actually so did Nibali for the most part. I was very surprised to see the peloton split happen in such a big way though, there are several riders who i don't think should have dropped off today. I have only just been able to catch up on what's been going on over the past few stages today. The crashes are crazy, but what can be done to fix it? Very tough problem.

Have to say that Wiggins is now looking real good, Nearly 2mins over Evans after that TT, and with another TT stage coming up aswell, Evans will have to not only get the time loss back but will also need a lead to cover up the time he could possibly loose in the last TT. So Evans will have some work to do come those Category 1 and Beyond Category climbs. Also Special mention to Teejay Van Garderen, he has done well so far, I can see why Evans wanting him in the team, he could be a future winner of the Tour in years to come.

Damn, this tour is like a drug! :D
Wiggins will probably win, and I'm glad for it. It would be nice to see Froome in his own team. :wavey:

Not only is Wiggins strong, but his team is strong. If he stays out of trouble the tour is his to lose at this point. The guy really impressing me is TeJay, certainly looks like the new standard bearer for the US in the GC classification. It would be great to see him finish in the top ten where he is, in white and within range of a podium.

Frankly yesterday he looked stronger than Cadel.

A class act from Wiggins yesterday to wait for Cadel to rejoin the peloton. Something Contador wouldn't have done.
Sagan is the true hero here! :wavey:

Given the state of cycling in the last few years, A twinge of skepticism... I wouldn't be surprised if his super hero status isn't a bit too "super". It would be sad, as he's having a fantastic tour and seems to be a guy for the classics for years to come, very much like Tom Boonen.

So Frank Schleck is out after failing a drug test.

There's always one.... :nono:

Congratulations to the Wiggster... Team Sky was able to hold off all attacks, and there frankly weren't that many of them. A well earned ride into Paris wearing yellow.

On another note, Tejay! Solid, solid ride and he's going to be a presence in the sport for some time to come! Maybe we'll seek him earning a GC spot in a couple of years!
