Cadel is going to be serious for a repeat. Not only is he bringing a stronger and rested support team but the course really favors him, with long TTs and just 3 mountain finishes. I'm keeping an eye on Tejay Van Garderen but I'll be hoping for a good team result for team Garmin.

Obviously want Brad Wiggins to win, and he can really do it this time barring misfortune. Cadel Evans is another of my favourite riders, so i'm spoilt this year, either as a winner is fine with me and they're the two heavy favourites!

I'm glad Contador is paying the price for his doping and having to miss this year's Tour because of his two year ban. I'm actually a little saddened however that Andy Schleck is missing this year's tour because of a fractured something... I think hip? It would have made the battles that much more worth while. Every tour defender needs a worthy challenger.

I don't care about Andy Schleck i think he's a bit of a bitch, moans too much...

Wiggo is a 'worthy challenger', wait and see :)

I have nothing against Wiggins, he's had a great year to date, the fact that there are long TTs and not many mountain finishes actually helps him a bit.

But the team split with Cavendish on board is a question and Sky can't possibly be chasing both a green and a yellow jersey. If they spend major effort within the team to get Mark wins, it will ultimately hurt Wiggins. BMC has only one agenda and that's yellow in Paris. Let's see how it all plays out.

Sky won't be chasing the green, GC is way more important. Even Cav knows that (he has changed his prepartion this year anyway with the Olympics and such in mind - there was a good article, if i find it i'll post). Good start for Wiggins though! :)

Fabian Cancellara is a beast in the short TTs. Tejay did a solid ride, perhaps some day he'll be the next American to wear yellow into Paris. All the GC riders showed up today though, everyone looks to be on form!
