IS THIS A GOD DAM???

Right, this is it!!!! The official announcement!!! I HATE MY JOB!!!

To support what I want to do in life, my "career", I am currently earning extra pennies working in a frigging call centre. Selling "boutique" wine to the stuck-up, arrogant, grumpy English bourgeoisie. Why do I do this??? Because it's flexible and for NO other reason.

Three months I have been doing this now. And it feels like an eternity! You're under pressure to make one sale an hour, otherwise you're bullied and patronised by the supervising team. I generally, somehow, make my targets, but I've been on SERIOUSLY difficult data this week, and it's a bloody pain in the arse.

People have been getting fired left-right-and-centre, especially after one of the other departments folded, so the pressure is intense. I can't stand it anymore! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I promised myself years ago I would never work in a call center or a pub. However I suppose it what your skill set is, I have a very low tolerance to drunk people when I am sober.

It's only a filler, when other work dries up, but it's hell, I tell you. I've got another day of it today... :vomit:

Seriously considering pulling the plug and looking for a nicer job.

Keep looking sure, job market's tough I agree with that, but this should help your C.V I think.

Contacted employment agencies who are looking for casual workers?

Now have to resist the temptation to fill this thread up with minor rants, just read through the misery and feel the need to lighten the mood.

I have worked in both a call centre and a pub; but it wasn't a traditional call centre; it was tech support and they didn't have any stupid time limits or rules about escalating the call; we could take as much time as needed to solve the issue. And working in a pub was helping out behind the bar occasionally, I also worked as a sound engineer at the same pub/music venue.

I'd never work in a call centre. I'm not patient enough.

You can come work with me Lew. All I ask is that you're reliable and not retarded. :D

Well I fit your requirements, certainly, but it's a bit of a commute, don't you think?:hehe:

My youtube account was registered with a hotmail email address, that address recieves so much junk I then got a googlemail address which I use most of the time now. When I attempt to log in to youtube it asks me to sign into my hotmail account for verification, when I do that I get redirected to a page saying that google needs my permission to access my hotmail WTF? Then after that whenever I try to access my googlemail I get re directed, it takes a while to go back through stuff and get it back the way it was so I can access my email but this happens whenever I try to log into youtube.

Youtube did give me the option of switching my email account that's connected to youtube to another which I trid but for some reason I couldn't switch to using a googlemail account with (GOOGLE OWNED) youtube.

TBH I'm surprised facebook doesn't make an appearance in there somewhere.
