I actually posted early in the season, when a lot of people were completely writing off the car that I thought it would take quite a while to see its real potential. My thinking was that it was such a radical design (within the scope of the rules anyway) and, as such Ferrari, unlike every other team had no baselines for testing. The team first had to understand the car, then develop it. I'm really not at all surprised by the amount of upgrades and I'm sure it will continue. If you look at the payoff the team has been getting for each of the upgrades it has been significant and, what's most encouraging is there hasn't been a backward step yet - every upgrade has work the way they expect. That's very different to pre-season and early season results.
For sure there will come a point where the returns will diminish, but I hope they are nowhere near that ATM. As Tombazis said in his last interview they are looking to "dominate" races with this car.
"He was the fastest driver I ever saw - faster even than Fangio"

That F2012 is looking more like an F2012.6 given the amount of updates they've pumped into it lately. Hope they don't peak too early.
