I really can't imagine. If I had 2, I'd have one workhorse, and the other (A Lambo or smth ) sitting pretty except for a blast up north or down south during the weekend.

I really can't imagine. If I had 2, I'd have one workhorse, and the other (A Lambo or smth ) sitting pretty except for a blast up north or down south during the weekend.

Unfortunately for me; both cars are workhorses, one is a Chevy Cavalier 2 dr 2.2L and the other is a Saturn Vue 3.5 V6, suffice to say the V6 SUV is the faster, the Chevy is hampered by it's clunky 4spd auto box, the SUV will hit 60mph in about 7 seconds, not bad for an 5spd automatic! The SUV is also more expensive to keep, four new tyres cost over $800!

I have always had 2 cars, well at some points 3. (while waiting for one to sell)

One work horse and one pretty. However of late it has turned into one work horse and one family run around.

I myself have no car at the present time... not much point in London. I've driven through it before, and it really is faster to walk sometimes.

Yeah, where's the kids SPCA. Kids kennel for vacations - and I'm really not too fussy about whether or not the SPCA is a no-kill one.

I know right! Don't know if you're a parent, but I personally don't see the worth in all the trouble. People talk about wives being 'liabilities' in the financial sense, well it's nothing close to kids IMO. I evaluate myself as a parents child and think of everything my parents have done for me and although I'm eternally grateful, I don't see how I could repay even 1/4, since my dad isn't really in any monetary issue anyway.

I guess it's a mentality thing, a fundamental part of the brain which I'm missing. I can't stand being around kids, and can't think of having to impart 'human knowledge' in 1 from birth...I can think of a million other ways to satisfy my hours! I told myself, if I ever get married the prenup is going to include 'No kids' clause, or the wedding is off.

Sorry for the rant...but I always look out for similar minded individuals as they are far and few in between. I hope you were being genuine about your opinion though.

I have no tools, and labour in this country is actually quite cheap since the mechanic is also a good friend.

Plus have you owned an E34? It's like those Germans made these cars a maze to work on, just for the kicks. Installing new speakers at the rear took almost 45min with the guy who fixed them on saying I really got my money's worth in labour. The guy was soaked in perspiration when the work was done.
