And a team for their vision... Toro Rosso seem to be the only team with a vision to bring new talent to the sport in a well-controlled environment. But where they disappoint me is their ability to move forward.

Pahaha, really? Just cause of Vettel right... What about Sauber's record (including their time as BMW where Kubica and Vettel arrived). In the last decade or so they've given 4 race winners and 2 world champions their debuts...

Sauber used to be spot on for talent spotting. To be fair they picked Koby from no where and look how he has done. Perez I would image was at the top of the list because Ferrari asked them.

I miss the feeder teams of old, like minardi, Sauber, even Jordan

I'm not sure, I think Perez joined Ferrari's driver academy after he joined Sauber.

Anyway, Perez joined with sponsorship and having finished 2nd in gp2 (to Maldonaldo).

Perhaps Big Azza is including Torro Rosso's previous incarnation as Minardi in mentioning them. Isn't it pretty much the same team only under different ownership?

Well, Minardi have started the careers of many a long-standing driver. Toro Rosso have taken off where BMW started (Vettel) and destroyed the rest of their drivers' careers so far. A very different track record!
