Ok so im gonna list the teams and say which driver i prefere and state a reason, feel free to do the same and wel see who are the heroes and the enemys out there

So...

Redbull

Mark, he is a much more fun personality than vettel, who i view as a baby. I think seb is the better driver but love how mark is prooving me wrong this year :)

Mclaren

Lewis, Hes my boy, i would say he is in the top 2 drivers out there along with alonso and i want him to go on to be clear #1, i personally havnt had any problem with how hes conducted himself with the media plus he does say what he thinks, and i think he has always got a genuine smile on his face (few times in last few seasons apart :P) I do like jens but watching some old season reviews i remember now that he was very moody and bad with the media when things were bad, plus he critized the team alot which i didnt like.

Mercades

Nico, Still havnt forgiven shcumi for adelede 95 nuff said :P

Ferrari - A tough one, Probably prefere Alonso now, did hate him for a while for that parking in front of lewis to f*** up his quali when they were teammates, still wouldnt say i like Fernando, but Massa's behaviour on and off the track since his big accident has been apauling. (dont touch my boy yeh :bs: ) and its impossible not to respect Alonsos tallent.

Lotus, Kimi, Obviously

Force India - Paul, Like both these guys but paul gets the vote cos hes british so i see more media etc of him, dont really know too much bout hulk

Sauber - hmmmmmm not sure like them both gonna say Kobi just because Perez messed up the chance to stuff one to Alonso

Toro Rossi - Riccardo purely because i saw him drive at silverstone and i know nothing about Vergne

Williams - Bruno, by a country mile, Maldanaro is only in f1 because of his money and his purposfull crash into lewis at spa was :censored: ing disgusting. Bruno reminds me of his uncle so much :( really want to see him win a race

Caterham - Heikki - He allways seems happy and has a nice smile, think he got harsher press than he deserved for his season at mclaren

HRT - pedro because of the mclaren connections, do like karth tho and he looks like the call center guy out of "facejacker"

Marusia - Glock for THAT moment at Sau Paulo 08 :)

Sorry for spelling etc dont write much that often :P

To be fair to Kovi, his 1st two team mates (alonso and Hamilton) are what caused him to look bad

What did Schumi do wrong at Adelaide '95? Are you blaming him for the crash with Alesi? Or was he behind the grassy knoll with a gun shooting out Mika's tyre in quali?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Red Bull - Webber - cuz vettel is a B1TCH

Mclaren - Jenson, cuz I like seeing him beat "the best driver on the grid"

Ferrari - Alonso, massive amounts of talent, and massa is also a B1TCH

Mercedes - Nico, cuz I like seeing him outscore the guy with 7 titles

Lotus - it SHOULD be vitaly petrov..but I'll go with Kimi cuz he swears as much as I do, publicly

Force India - I like both, though hulkenberg gets a bump up in my book for the pole position in brazil 2010 in the crappy williams

Sauber - Perez, cuz he's the only North American driver and has showed lots of promise this year. Kobayashi has my thumbs up though too cuz we've all seen impressive things from him

Toro Rosso - Vergne, cuz he has a cool last name. Ricciardo is good, but I can't have any other aussies trying to usurp my boy webber!! :P

Williams - Maldonado, cuz a lot of people think he's a pay driver (which i will admit is arguable and am willing to see both sides of the story...I just love seeing people that are hated throw it down big time) and could we really expect much from him last year with that TRASH williams car?? Be real, folks!!

HRT - don't :censored: know, don't :censored: care

Marussia - see HRT

Caterham - Petrov, cuz Russians kick @$$ and I love communism.

Red Bull - Vettel
Ferrari - Massa
McLaren - Button (both are :censored: but Button is slightly less of an annoying :censored: )
Lotus/Renault/WhatevertheywanttobecallednextF1 - Raikkonen
Mercedes - Schumacher but Rosberg is sound as well
Force India - no real preference
Sauber - see Force India
Torro Rosso - see Sauber
Williams - see Torro Rosso
Caterham - see Williams
Marussia - noting against either driver but this team shouldn't be in F1

Good thread. Right, here I go.

1. Red Bull - It's hard to say. Seb is cute. Mark is a great person. I'd love to have a pint with both. Can't choose. (Bad start, that, isn't it?)

2. McLaren - Lewis is the more exciting driver, but Jenson I think has the better personality. Again, it's hard to choose. (I'm awful at this aren't I?)

3. Ferrari - Fernando Alonso. I don't like either Ferrari driver, but at least Alonso is exceptionally talented.

4. Mercedes - Nico Rosberg. Nice guy, up and coming, hopefully a champion of the future.

5. Lotus - Kimi Raikkonen. This guy, when on form, is seriously, seriously FAST.

6. Force India - It's a bloody difficult choice again, but Paul di Resta's technical knowledge and understanding is SERIOUSLY impressive.

7. Sauber - Sergio Perez I think. Has superb potential, and I admire the way he preserves those tyres. Second place in Sepang was awesome.

8. Toro Rosso - Daniel Ricciardo. He's got great potential IMO. His form in the HRT last year was superb, and he totally outshone the much more experienced Vitantonio Liuzzi.

9. Williams - Bruno Senna. Nicer guy, solid driver.

10. Caterham - Heikki Kovalainen. Great laugh, solid driver, very dependable.

11. HRT - Pedro de la Rosa. Who doesn't love this amiable Spaniard?

12. Marussia - Charles Pic is beautiful in appearance, but Timo Glock is a guy who's talent I've had immense respect for, ever since he scored that initial point on his debut for Jordan at Montreal in 2004.

Red Bull Sebastian Vettel is so supreme over the course of 1 lap. Pity about this year. I've had immense respect for Vettel since his Toro Rosso days and the race I watched in Monaco '08 where Vettel came from the back row of the grid to finish 5th.

Mark Webber is an under-achiever. I like his personality - he's a good honest Aussie bloke - but still I don't think he's much of a team player.

McLaren Since last year I have developed a great amount of respect for Button. He is easily my second favourite driver. His understanding of racing - a bit similar to Vettel's - is to finish the race, and take no unnecessary risks. Consistency is more important. Understanding the picture of the whole race, and not just the guy in front of you is what I like. Hamilton is just the opposite. He frustrated me last year. I started off supporting Hamilton since '07. After THAT race in Brazil '08 I switched my support to the guy who overtook him... IN A TORO ROSSO.

Hamilton is a lucky bar steward to have won that championship. He is fast, and entertaining - but I don't rate him as a top three driver anymore as there is more to racing than just trying to beat the guy in front of you and shredding your tires in the process. Hopefully Hamilton will learn his lesson like Vettel did in 2010. Niki Lauda is always right!

Ferrari There is no doubt in my mind that Alonso is the best driver on the grid. This updates my previous sentiment that Vettel is better than him. Alonso has got an intelligent racing mind, a real authoritative personality on and off the track. However, my respect for Alonso takes a bit of a tumble as he is called Teflonso for a reason. He deserves one more world title.

Massa is unlucky not to have been a WDC. He was also screwed by his team out of a race win because of team orders. However, the team made the right call in the end because Alonso nearly won the championship later that year. Massa has been good throughout most of his career. However after that accident and last year's performance he should have retired. Now he will go down as a joke in history which is unfortunate.

Mercedes Michael Schumacher is tied with Juan Manuel Fangio as the greatest driver to have ever graced this sport... in my mind. It's such a shame that his hey day was just before I picked up my interest in the sport. However, I couldn't watch the sport because of him. I thought it was boring. However, now - after watching a few seasons, I think that 5 straight championships would have been impressive to witness. Right now he is not in that place where he used to be, but fitness takes a whole new meaning in the sport these days. I really really really want to see a Schumacher win in my time watching the sport.

Rosberg I have never really rated. He was great for Williams where he totally outshone Nakajima, but I refused to recognise him as a talent. Now he has competed with Schumacher two years in a row and I still refuse to acknowledge him. My reasons are unfounded - I just want to see Schumacher do well. Maybe I will finally open my eyes this year.

Lotus Kimi Raikkonen is the fastest driver I have ever seen. I don't like his personality though. Unfortunately I can only say he is fast - I don't rate him for the same reasons I've lost respect for Hamilton. However, from what I have read, Raikkonen deserved another WDC before I started watching the sport... and I wish I could watch some of those races to perform a more rounded opinion of him.

Grosjean in inconsistent. He was screwed by Renault earlier on in his career, and I certainly hope to see him get a moral win by doing well in the sport. However, I don't view him as championship material.

Force India I do not rate Di Resta. I think he is lucky to have a drive this year as Sutil was clearly better than him. Hopefully I am proven wrong at some point.

I am unable to rate Hulkenburg as I have only seen him for one season at Williams. His pole position was lucky. However, looking at his junior career - it is absolutely incredible - I think he deserves to be in the sport and hopefully has the talent to become a legend.

Sauber Kobayashi was screwed by the implementation of DRS. ever since that has come into the sport he can't drive according to his best driving style. Great defensively and great at overtaking. Now that he has been hindered in this area, I don't acknowledge him much - but I used to think he had talent to be a World Champion.

Perez is now a better driver - which I only base on his performance at Malaysia. I wanted to see more of him in his Sauber first before I agree that he should be promoted to a drive with one of the "top 3" teams.

Toro Rosso is my favourite team... but I have become a bit disillusioned of late. I am unsure of either driver. I have been following Vergne for the last couple of years - I really thought he was the next big talent of the sport. However, last year he crumbled and lost his title to an apparently better Robert Wickens of Canada. This makes me disillusioned and I do not feel that Vergne is a talent anymore.

I am still undecided on Ricciardo. From his junior career I only associated him as a potential race winner but not championship material - very similar to Mark Webber.

Williams I think Maldonado is a good driver. His performance at Monaco was epic last year. He is a consistent driver with an attitude problem. Unfortunately that attitude does not bode well in mind when I read that he once ignored flags at the scene of an accident and struck and seriously injured a track marshall at Monaco. However, I believe in forgiveness and Maldonado would likely feel very bad for what happened. But then what he did to Hamilton at Spa is almost unforgiveable. Has he learned his lesson from that crash at Monaco? In my point of view he could be the new Mike Hawthorn of Grand Prix racing.

Bruno Senna I do not rate. He had an epic qualifying performance at Spa last year and then he followed it up with underwhelming results thereafter.

Caterham Kovaleinen I didn't use to rate as he was underwhelming when paired with Hamilton. He is a very lucky grand prix winner. However his performances with Caterham lately have been more inspiring.

Petrov is the opposite. I used to rate him but now don't do so much anymore. I wished to see more of him paired with Kubica.

HRT De La Rosa belongs in an old folks home. I cannot understand why HRT signed him up. However he does have a nice personality and is good to have on the grid.

Karthikeyan I do not rate.

Virgin While I have utmost respect for Glock I think D'Ambrosio was better than him. Glock was a better qualifier but D'Ambrosio was a better finisher. Even Di Grassi finished higher than Glock in the championship even though as a back-marker it's a jackpot where you finish as it depends on other retirements. It just seems Glock is an unlucky driver as his car falls apart in a high attrition race...

Charles Pic I do not rate, as D'Ambrosio is better. Also I'd say if you were going to drop D'Ambrosio you should bring in Wickens...

You always pull out some stupid comments Azza so here's a couple more.

Firstly Webber not a team player? How on earth do you reach that conclusion? Or do you mean not much of a team Vettel player?

And Hamilton Lucky to have won in 08? You really need a reality check, a championship by definition is a competition over a series of races, not just one! But maybe if he had a car that was so dominant he got pole nearly every race that would make him a rightful winner? If Hamiltons was luck so was Vettels in 2010, then 2011 was down to the car going by your logic Vettel is luckier!

I'm going to go on the record but by career end Hamilton will have won more titles than Vettel and you'd probably be back on the Hamilton train by then!
