Who's the one being offensive now?
That would be me
! Remember I'm not the one who spit on Ferrari and all that it mean's to us, the tifosi
I don't spit on Ferrari, I spit on what Ferrari has become since Enzo had less to do with the company and his death.
I dont think McLaren Fan was comparing impact on F1 as a whole in terms of impact on peoples lives, Ferrari obviously along with its road cars has made a bond with alot of people in the world.r
Correct, bud. There can be no doubt Ferrari have a better road car business than Ferrari and there is a certain amount of romance about Ferrari that sets it apart. To say otherwise would be the stamp of a liar or delusional fool. I was strictly comparing Enzo Ferrari and Ron Dennis in terms of their levels of success. Overall, it is strictly my view, by the way, that Ron Dennis can be compared to Enzo Ferrari in many ways.
If he was not comparing the two, yah right
,then I think he should choose his word's or statement's more wisely... We cannot let our love and passion for a specific team cloud our judgement of reality and that's what I think is happening here.
I admit my first post was not especially clearly, but after that what I meant did become clearer. Apologies.
In any case, I've my views, some may not like them, but they aren't ungrounded. Finally, I'm not blinkered. As I've said, before this forum even existed, a few years ago I was very critical of McLaren's performance, feeling the team was underachieving.
