I don't think Vettel would have been able to pass Lewis on track, we saw Webber .700 behind and couldn't make it past, the McLaren was fast in the DRS zones. Part of Lewis' problem at the restart was being stuck behind Vettel he chewed his tyres up following him. Had he been ahead at the restart he would have had better pace similar to Jensons as McLaren turned the wick up.

Meh, while the safety car did indeed help Seb in getting past Lewis, the German was faster than Hamilton in the closing stages anyway. I refuse to read too much into it.
