Ferrari... I'm smelling a word "disgrace"...

Ferrari said that they were taking some risks with the new car instead of being too safe. Unfortunately when you gamble, sometimes it doesn't turn out well.

The new car is due around Spain, isn't it?

McLaren are ahead now. What we'll find out later on is whether they fundamentally have the fastest car, or if they've been conservative which means well sorted and fast at the start of the season, but less scope for development.

Possible.
I just watched the lap from Lewis. That McLaren was perfect on that lap. Well done to him and to the team.

Btw, Kimi in a dreamland...

[Scuderian24]

Hello Everyone. The Qualifying session was amazing not just because Ferrari aren't in the top ten...but because of the top four...Mercedes engines seem to be doing the good deeds...

Ferrari are in a spot of trouble yes, but what about Massa? He's the real disgrace of opening Qualifying, I mean he couldn't even beat his teammate who spun off earlier on. Alonso pushed too hard, as you expect from someone giving that extra...but Massa just seemed to be meowing his way around the track to set a pathetic time.

Kick him out already...bring someone worthwhile for a Ferrari seat.

I must say that you are totally right!

I am just angry (for the 1000th time) over FIA decisions. They brought the ban on EO, hoping to weaken Red Bull and help Ferrari, but, guess what... McLaren isn't waiting for anyone.

Aaaaah... so its FiA's fault that Redbull have slipped down the pecking order? Of course. Let me just get my ' mental conspiracy theories' book, so I can note this one down......

Ferrari need to work on the car. Changing drivers at this point would be an unnecessary distraction.

Priorities.

Good point. Red Bull should have adapted to the change in regs but so far, they haven't.

They certainly will over the course of the season though.

Other things
Ferrari-oh dear
Vettel-now we'll see what he's made of.
Grosjean- WOW!! havent bean a fan, mainly because I hadnt really noticed him much. Ive noticed him now. And what a sweetie-couldnt get the smile off his face. Firm fan now!
Maldonado-grumble grumble grumble. But good sign for Williams and Senna was there abouts
Mercedes- Expected them to be up there, I think we'll see a strong race from them-maybe Schumacher on the podium?

Congrats to Lewis for pole and the team for locking out the front row. Now turn this form into a win.

Why the sad face next to Ferrari? Did you mean this - or or ?

Can't wait to see how Vettel handles himself when he can't reach his safehouse in the first row.

[racechick]

Sad face because I dont like it too easy. Rather beat them in a fight

[Frontrunner]

Mclaren- car looks really strong
Merc- also a good car with awesome straight line speed
Red bull- only 5th and 6th (didn't see that coming) and kers packing up again, just like last year
Ferrari - we all know that work has to be done there
Grosjean - great effort from him
Kimi - didn't make Q2, What!!

thats what I got out of that Quali session
