Yup, aside from a few silly tyre rules I think the 3 Session Qualifying is fantastic. Really exciting.

Back in the days we had Murray Walker and Minardi to help us while away the quiet parts of the qualifying hour.

Yup, Minardi and Dallara made life interesting for a while. I always had a bit of a soft spot for Minardi because their cars generally looked superb and were well turned out. I'd always have a smile on my face when they scored a point or two. Pierre Luigi Martini was probably their best driver

Maybe the old myth is true after all, pace is proportional to beauty.

The F2002, F2001, MP4/25 were all fine looking cars and dominated on pace. Hopefully this stands for things to come in 2012 as well.
