I think Newey deserves a lot of credit. But the situation gets ridiculous when, on the Top Gear Fastest Lap Youtube video, people are saying comments like how Adrian Newey won the drivers title. I had to laugh that off because it was an inapprorpiate thread - quite clearly Adrian Newey was not driving the car Vettel was using in the reasonably-priced-car thingy. A lot of the Adrian Newey hype is nothing but the British media bias looking for a Brit to claim the credit.
We can see the contrast between Vettel and Webber. That has been plain to see since Vettel joined the team. The same can be said of Vettel vs Bourdais - who was just unlucky to be paired with Vettel.
Adrian Newey is a top designer. He has also designed duds. The reason for Red Bull's domination this year, and strong last year was the combination of Vettel an Newey.
I think having a consistent driver in Vettel at the wheel is Newey's dream. Vettel has that Schumacher-esque quality. We see it in qualifying. He can calmly go out and set a blazing fast lap - no mistakes - and eek 100% out of the car every time he qualifies. That ability surely translates into practice and races as well.
To have that consistency - someone driving Newey's car constantly at 100% means that Newey can only improve the car. Vettel is also known for his technical skills which would mean that, with his feedback and ability to drive at 100% constantly, Vettel will notice any improvements that have been made, or clearly convey to Newey where he thinks the car can improve.
It really is the perfect pairing in F1 - which is why I think that, as long as the two are together, they will dominate. This is what F1 is about - the best combining with the best.
It is silly to ask for them to be hindered or invent rules to stop the rout. They are setting the benchmark - everyone else has to catch up. Thankfully Vettel is a very personable young chap who so far after 4 years of winning still has not develop an arrogant attitude.
Although it could be a tough ask with his next 6 titles that he will maintain his demeanor... but so far I am prepared.
I could be criticised for not having loyalty - but my reason for watching F1 is not to blatantly support a driver who I like. I like supporting the driver who I think is the best.

EDIT: After reading that back to me it looks like I've blatantly diminished Newey's achievements and ability. That is not what I was trying to do.
Newey deserves A LOT of the credit he has received. All of it, except for those who deny Vettel's involvement in Newey's success.
I think designer achievements and driver achievements should be viewed separately. From Adrian Newey's perspective, he is the best designer out there using the best tools (Aka Vettel and Red Bull Money, talented engineeres working for him etc.) to further his interest in the sport and only get better.
Vettel who is the best driver is using the best tools at his dispostion (aka Newey's talent, Red Bull's Money and other talented engineers, Experienced Team Mate) to further his interests in the sport.
One cannot be great without the other. And both of them should not have their achievements diminished without the other.
Vettel could leave always have another engineer design his car and keep him winning. Are all Vettel's doubters still going to ignore Vettel's involvement and place all the credit on his next designer? It's an unfair assessment. Vettel is not going to going to build his own cars and race them (not yet anyway) so your argument is invalid.
The same can be said of Newey in a round about way, although I don't know how I can make it logical!
