I'm paying off most of our debts, mainly medical (we pay $600 in insurance and still have a balance left over from doctor visits :( ), I hate paying it but at the same time, it's nice to reduce the debt so we can have more money overall on a month to month basis!

Played a bartender in a short film being made by students of the London Film School, also starring James Phelps (Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter films) and Tim Bentinck (The Archers, Doctors, Royal Bodyguard, voice of the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground, etc).

I don't do or say much in the film, but it's eeeaaasssyy money. 8-) And fills some time before something better turns up.

Had a rare and long overdue day off.

Excellent! So you could spend the whole day gazing longingly at the new McLaren! Best day off ever then!

Nah, I had much better things to do. A trip to the council offices, applying for a few jobs and playing guitar. Who needs a McLaren? :D

Not until I have something else to go to but I don't think I'm going to be making enough without eating into my savings so it's either a new job or promotion (which I know will not happen).

Always better to plan a bigger earner in advance, rather than waiting until your saving are well-and-truly eaten into! Wise thinking, my man! Hope it goes well for you :)

Thanks, here's hoping. The jobs are with an oil company so hopefully the money will be better than what I'm getting now. I just have to sit tight and wait and see what transpires. Here's hoping though. :D

I hope those well off and famous actors left good tips at your bar. :P

:hehe: It was good to be with them, they were a good laugh. And I had a few mates in the cast who I trained with too, so it was pretty chilled out. 8-)

Don't worry I'll post some, if I can ever find any. We'll see. :hehe:

I should have taken some myself...

Was enjoying a few pints with a mate near Trafalgar Square when I noticed some flakes of snow began to descend from the heavens. Knowing the sheer incompetence of the London Transport network in such "sticky" situations (yes, it was sticking good and fast) I hastened to the nearest London Underground station, Charing Cross. It was a wise move.

I live on the periphery of the metropolis, so the tube train had to emerge from the safety of the tunnels and into the wrath of the elements. Sure enough, what with the heavy fall of snow, the electricity pick-up began to fail, and the train only just reached the station 1 stop away from mine. A long walk was thus required (I aint payin for NO taxi!)

Reached home about an hour ago with a pile of snow on my head.

It's still going hell for leather outside now! My trip to the theatre tomorrow may just not happen... :freezing:

Today, I've;

a) just signed up to Twitter, and...

b) started reading 1984, by George Orwell. 8-)

One chapter down, and I'm liking it a lot!
