The desperation is strong in this team.

It's funny how Ferrari have openly said they 'stopped' developments and are fully focused on next year, when the other two top teams are not really caring and continuing to develop this years' car saying all knowledge and technical knowhow is fully transferable for 2012.

Ferrari probably have many knife wielding Italians lining up at Maranello already, and are keen to defuse the growing anger by mentioning nonsense like "next years car will be the killer"..."Rory and his Pro-Engineer software is back"....what's next..."MIchael may be coming back to Ferrari"? LOL

Barring a strategy issue, Fernando would have won the driver's championship last year. And Ferrari won the constructors championships in 2007 and 2008. If Ferrari was in a situation, say, where Ferrari hadn't won the constructor's championship since 1998, that would be something worth worrying about. But Ferrari is there or thereabouts most years, and there's a good chance that Ferrari will be challenging for the championship next year.

Ferrari only won the constructors championship in 07 due to politics. (Among many of Ferraris championships being won via politics mind you)
On track results, McLaren won that years constructors.

Yes, but McLaren had been caught red handed cheating. Entirely their own fault. That's not "politics", that's the proper application of sporting rules and regulations.

Oh really? Why was this penalty not handed out in other spying claims? Because Ferrari wouldn't gain anything from Renault being excluded, nor Toyota mind you

You Ferrari fans are so naive to think their team has never had spying on their team, it's always been in F1..Ferrari are far from innocent.

That's awesome, but I'm not questioning their achievements. I'm just laughing at their comments and efforts in appeasing said knife-wielding tifosis.

And laughing at Ferrari's performance this year like so:

Rory Byrne was at Ferrari with Schumacher, Jean Todt and Ross Brawn making a fantastic team. It's a rather different team now. Could he do the same job without these greats behind him?

They need to hire Adrian Newey. You cannot lose when he is on your team.

Well, you can... McLaren certainly know about that. But when he does get it right, his car's a sweet one.
