Senna proved ALOT in the limited amount of time he was with us in F1. I believe his success rate or percentage is higher than Shumi's regarding the 'on-track' time frame. Senna had what 10 to maybe 12 full season's compared to Shumi's 15 yr's ? Michael was fortunate enough to have a very long career in F1 than what is the norm and to make the most of it.

If that 'black day' in '94 had not happened it would have been a year to year battle between Senna and Shumacher for supremacy I think. From '94 til '06 I believe the title of WDC would have been contested between the two and no one else.

They are both great champion's and ambassador's to and for F1, I miss them both.

I agree with demure and I have been around way longer than the both of you! I remember watching gentleman Hill (no, not that twat Damon!) drive around on those race tracks. Or Fittipaldi, Reutemann, Peterson, Ickx, Scheckter, and, and...

I would have loved to have been around when F1 wasn't so commercial...

I love you too bud...

I'm not calling you a terrorist, I am saying your blind faith in all things McLaren and the way you hunt down Schumi supporters is similar to that of a religious fanatic.

I have a reason to be a Schumacher disciple, two words, "Seven Times"...

Thing is Senna had not lost any of his skill. Age may mean alot to the majority of F1 fan's, who take as gospel what the press tell's them as being to old to be competative, but we all know Senna was no where finished putting the 'smack down' on other driver's until his passing.

Take Fangio for instance when the driver's had to actually muscle the car around the track.

you implying again that i takewhat the press say as gospel as i do with teachers?

Senna would have raced on til he was atleast 38 39 in my opinion so that would have been around 1998 99 no way he would have raced on into the millenium and definately not until 2006 where he would have been 46

and you cannot use Fangio as evidence as they never had the G force the current cars do. you have to have fighter pilot reflexes and physique something Fangio didnt have. not to mention the calander every 2 weeks theres a race and 17 in a year how many did fangio race? 6 or 7 gp a year.

Well your reading but not understanding my meaning so YAH I guess I now know how you feel now

The key word's here bro is "in my opinion " which does not make it fact but I do think that once Senna won a WDC against Shumacher he might have retired.

Now regarding the second part of your reply are you saying that Fangio was NOT an athelete? Regardless of g-force's and such they did not have areodynamic's working for them and did not have slick's or even wide tire's to aid in their overall performance !
