Wow! Coming from a 7-time champ, this must be encouraging for that young lad. I hope he'll get a decent drive soon - BMW Sauber in 2009 would be a great option.

I thought Ferrari developed car for him. With a team of great engineers and loads of money. But I can imagine MS doing his car in a do-it-yourself manner over the years. I really do

Honestly, I don't think that was such a great achievement from his side. When you think of it, it took much less time to Mika to develop McLaren to suit his needs... (or, more recently, FA to develop Renault). Unfortunately Mercedes engine turned dog after regulation changes (that, intentionally or not, did play in advantage for Ferrari) and technical excellence of Ferrari packages did let MS remain on top for so long... but I don't really think that was MS's exclusive, he was just lucky to be good driver in great car.

Oh well that 'll be it then Forget about past records, attitude, comparison with team mate, test runs etc etc. Just put kids in a simulator, simulate a win and see who shouts the loudest. There you have your future champion
