Mike came in and straight away went personal on me instead of the topic at hand i was pointing out his hypocricy and once again showing that its all he does, starts conflicts and gets off on it and bringing down people on a personal level! no denying i get personal at times but i need to be angry for me to do that. unlike some.

Well enough for this group of misfit's ! You know youz got's ta "express yo self". I have a tendency to feel bad for coming down on my friend's here on the forum and like to lighten it up alittle after a "war of word's" because after all we are just expressing our belief's and I really do not draw a line between 'right and wrong'. That's why I like to ask that we "agree to disagree'.

I see the right and wrong side's of a situation, I try to be as diplomatic as possible, but then it's just get's to the point for me personaly that's it's to exhuasting to continue a battle one can never win. Thus I find it more rewarding to try and mediate a truess or understanding between the two side's.

DD, Tex, Mike you're wasting your breath against the McLaren Jihad on this forum. Their team has been caught with their hand in the cookie jar, their team boss came out and apologised and admitted all he had to do was tell the truth to avoid this whole mess.

But now they are claiming it was a forced confession and this was all a conspiracy, without a shred of proof, just believing what they want to believe.

Sounds a bit fundamentalist if you ask me.

Just thank them for the discussion and move on, you will never here the end of it...

I think its time now for Ferrari to apologise in public. If Ferrari had not passed the data to McL in the first place this situation could not have happened. An apology from Jean Todt would be appropriate since it was his failier in security that caused the problem.

Why should Ferrari make a public apology that's just ludricous ! It was a trusted HIGH LEVEL employee who had full access to confidential material that passed it on to McLaren not the whole Ferrari team!

I am not particularly a fan of any team or driver but I do admit to a dislike of the way Ferrari operates, and always has done, off track.
However, the facts are:- that the actions of 1 senior McL employee were deemed to be the responsibility of the whole company (and I agree with that) therefore, the actions of a single Ferrari employee must also be deemed to be an action by the whole company. Therefore, if the data was received by McL, and not an employee then was given by Ferrari and not an employee.
In the Renault case the data was taken by a McL employee who then moved to Renault and became a Renault employee, and then passed on McL property to Renault. A different scenario altogether, maybe the McL employee got the job with Renault because of the 'expertise' that he could bring with him? Who knows? The factis are that a Renault employee passed on stolen data to his employer.
So, I reiterate - Ferrari should apologise, especially Todt and Renault should be penalised on a tougher basis than McL because McL did not colude in the transfer of data as Ferrari did. At the very least Renault should apologise in public.
The FIA is corrupt - there can be no other explanation.

The transcript also highlighted the role FIA President Max Mosley played in the hearing, such as when he stopped McLaren lawyer Ian Mill from asking Mackereth if one of the drawings could have been used for the design of Renault's 2008 car.

Mad Max had no issues with time frames with McLarens 2008 challenger having any Ferrari influences.
