Keyboard warrior mode? Ok Mr Kettle... The fact you always have stupid comebacks like that says it all. Hardly anything keyboard warriorish in my post, But again you get a wee bit upset quite easily over the littlest thing I have found since you decided to grace our forum.
And I know from my own karting the ins and outs of overtaking, doesn't matter if it's in a NASCAR a kart or a dtm the fundamentals are the same as in f1.

But what ever go pick someone else to argue with, ( hope you dont mind me using your crappy material) I've seen some others who you've been rolling your eyes at lately, glad it's not just me

To begin with, every racer’s name is an abbreviation on the TV-screen: ALO, MAS, KOB, KOV, ETC.
Lewis has an abbr. HAM. If we transliterate these letters into Ukrainian language (from Roman letters to Cyrillic ones), we will get the word «хам», which means bounder, lout.
So, do you believe it’s a coincidence?

I've seen him interviewed a lot. What I respect about him is he says what he thinks and doesn't mince his words. Stikes me as the kind of guy that if you worked with him you'd always know where you stand.

Why is that? Because he doesn't have politically correct media age to care about? So he called lewis stupid, different issue, and it was stupid. He didn't need to turn that way on that corner. Hamiliton continues to be one of my favorite drivers to watch, but he's getting sloppy.

I think it is a coincidence or maybe it is all part of some grand plan we are not yet aware of. My phone line extension of 666 at my last work is starting to concern me now.

It was a racing incident.

Hamilton got the move done and dusted, DRS opened, thought he would be steaming away from Kobi. But Kamui was able to duck into his slipstream and stay with him*. Then Lewis went defensive and Kobi went up the outside, while Lewis was watching the inside for him. He should have taken a look into his left mirror, but he was expecting Koabyashi to 'pull a Kobayashi' and barge up the inside.

Then as he was sliding back to the left to take his racing line into the corner, there was Kamui. I am assuming he thought either Kobi backed off, or he had pulled away from him with his DRS open.

* I was suprised at how well the slipstream worked down that straight. I saw a few guys tucking in underneath a car with it's DRS open and stay with them.

And Bud, wishing bad luck on racers is way out of line. If someone wished Hamilton 'misfortune' (I am assuming you mean crash), you would be rioting.

Not impressed about him calling lewis stupid, no, I dont think he has the right to do that, but ok if he never sits as a steward he's entitled to say his piece. But the main issue I wasnt impressed about was his nationalistic comments. 'You have mansell up there, you should be ok'. So he'd judge incidents according to the drivers nationality? Not impressed by that AT ALL. He should have forfeited his right to ever be a steward there and then..what is he-Austrian .

I thought Lauda was wrong for calling Hamilton stupid. But I think he truly does think Lewis is great and as a fan is getting frustrated (much like what we saw on here).

He was joking about the Mansell comment. When I was watching the interview I thought he was just making a joke tongue in cheek style, because by the time the interview in question occurred the investigation was long over. I guess I may be used to that sort of sense of humor from my old German grandpa and all their friends.

LH has accepted blame for the incident; that should be an end to it!

On former drivers flapping their lips about current drivers, personally I believe they need to keep their trap shut; F1 is a very different world to compared to when they raced!

To be fair to Lauda, he was asked a question and he gave an honest answer. I don't recall him calling Hamilton stupid, did he not just say he makes stupid mistakes, but I may have missed it?

As for former drivers passing judgement, well they are usually there to do just that (I think Lauda is a pundit on Austrian TV). This is what attracts a lot of views. In theory, former drivers can give insights into the goings-on of the race based on their experience better than a lay person. Lauda is just someone that gets straight to the point and doesn't witter. F1 may be different to when they races, but race craft is still race craft. The fundamentals are still the same.
