I want an apology from Ferrari fans for saying McLaren were guilty before any investigations were carried out, for believing it was fine for the Ferrari team to conduct a media smear campaign against McLaren, for ignoring the fact there were other issues affecting matters other than spying, for posts that have been made on this forum with the sole intention to hurt and annoy McLaren fans, for being told the team I support (and others) were inferior to Ferrari and that Ferrari were worthy of extra help from the governing body, for denying past incidents of FIA-Ferrari collusion, for seriously believing Ferrari are the keystone of Formula One, for the personal attacks Ron Dennis has had to endure, for the mistruths some have spoken about McLaren with a view to lowering the team's reputation etc. etc.

Cant remember if or when I said or made any of those accusation's or judgement's against McLaren but I'll be the first person to say sorry and I apologize for offending any McLaren fan's with past discretion's.

I'm just glad we can all move on now :D !

bud like I said Ferrari is in the blood – heart & head.

Blood – no different to a Pom following McLaren
Heart – the passion side of it.
Head – Combination of above & me thinking for myself. (It is possible you know bud when you have ½ a brain)

I was bought up a catholic and I am still a practising catholic – mass every Sunday mate. So am I instantly a catholic lamb ????? (Its the thinking for yourself thing again mate)

Your religious extremist - Italian decent Ferrari fan example is plain stupid & vastly different.

You won’t see me or any Ferrari fan I know going into the McLaren infidel pits with a bomb strapped to themselves.

Ferrari v Life = FUC* Ferrari

So the investigation and guilty verdict changed anything did it?? All I saw was more excuses and lying.
But sorry for looking at what was available at the time and making a logical assumption instead of the McLaran fan view that because it was McLaren involved it was not possibly true.

for believing it was fine for the Ferrari team to conduct a media smear campaign against McLaren

So knowing your intellectual property was in the hands of your major competitor is OK & they should just leave it at that.
What about McLarens media lying campaign both in this case & the misinformation with the Renault case?

for ignoring the fact there were other issues affecting matters other than spying

This is debatable – again your assumptions - show some facts just like the facts which come out about this case & I will have an opinion.
(as you say guilty before any investigations)

for posts that have been made on this forum with the sole intention to hurt and annoy McLaren fans

Sorry if you were hurt but no personal malice intended. If you were hurt SORRY
Sorry again for annoyment factor but what do you expect when you carry on with some of your view which now have come to roost????

for being told the team I support (and others) were inferior to Ferrari.

Inferior is such a harsh word and that is why you picked it. Each team has there strengths & weaknesses but Ferrari do have something else. It’s intangible but they do have it.
Say Formula one to a novice and invariable they will say Ferrari. Are the others inferior - NO

and that Ferrari were worthy of extra help from the governing body

No they are not & I have never said they should get it.

for denying past incidents of FIA-Ferrari collusion

Again debatable & assumption, but I admit some are questionable but no where near what is bandied about. But again show me cold hard facts for each & not just what is preserved to be the case (as you say guilty before any investigations)

for seriously believing Ferrari are the keystone of Formula One

No team is above the sport but if one team would be missed the most it would be Ferrari.

for the personal attacks Ron Dennis has had to endure, for the mistruths some have spoken about McLaren with a view to lowering the team's reputation etc. etc

Not sorry at all he is an arrogant lying w***er which we all know for fact now.
Is he your uncle or something ? bag Todt all you want I could not care less, I am sure they are both big enough to look after themselves.

SORRY now lets forget about it and look forward to 2008 - it will be a craker of a year I think.

O.K I am sorry (does this count from a BMW fan?), so now your turn to say sorry for sugarcoating McLaren's guilt even after they are found guilty by the World Sporting Council and Ron Dennis himself apologized for cheating, oh wait I think I am be still speculating without facts.

F1live-
McLaren has proposed to freeze development of certain aspects of its 2008 car, after acknowledging that Ferrari secrets penetrated more deeply into the British team than was previously thought.

With the FIA still to rule on the legality of the MP4-23 following the 'Stepneygate' scandal, a McLaren statement on Thursday revealed that the governing body's recent investigation did indeed uncover that "Ferrari information was more widely disseminated... than was previously communicated." The letter, to FIA President Max Mosley, acknowledged that the Ferrari secrets spread within McLaren further than its chief designer and drivers Pedro de la Rosa and Fernando Alonso, contrary to the team's argument at the September hearing.

You've all missed the point I think.

The way these statements have been released from the McLaren team and then very shortly by the FIA leads me to think this has been orchestrated between them to bring the matter to a neat close.

Poiltical and sensible.. McLaren do their bit, the FIA does theirs.

Just means to an end. With substantial behind te scenes politicing going on.
