Don't need to, there's nowt to get over so stop trying to pick fights where there isn't one.

Peoples tastes in all things change as they get older. When I were 14 I prefered the grunge type stuff, now I'm a bit older I appreciate something more melodic and with lyrics which mean something worthwhile, though I don't say no to a bit of Motorhead, but it's the bass playing that attracts me to their sound the most.

I too listened to grunge growing up I am 4 years older than you by the looks I have new tastes as well but I still appreciate music from my youth and nor do I go around acting high and mighty like a god damn yuppy saying " oh laddy dar I stopped listening to that pish years ago and now listen to political meaningful music I therefore are better than you"

I am not acting like a damn yuppy and nor am I acting high and mighty.

You are either trying to annoy me enough to try and get me to write something that gets me banned or you are just a disagreeable person (whatever it is I'm bloody bored of you jumping on every singe thing I write on here and waging war for no good reason).

I don't see what is difficult for you to accept that someone has grown out of something as they now have the knowledge to appreciate new tastes. I don't mind what others listen too, it's up to them, but there is nothing wrong with sharing what our tastes are and why we like something. Jeeze, relax, you're cardiologist will thank you for it!
