Want equal treatment in that instance even when Hamilton had a better shot at the title, your own words.. it makes sense to put all effort behind the guy with the best chance at the title.

i thought they finished even.

But in any case... its 2011. Fernando has been solidly in the title fight last season, and it seems he's getting into it this one as well. We'll see how it ends....

Getting into which one? Is he competing in some truck racing or rally or something which I didn't know about? Because in F1, the WDC is done and dusted like it or not.

Massa was written off at the start of the season and all efforts are concentrating on Alonso. Trust me this is 100% the case. Luca is lying.

ESPNF1:
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has ended speculation that Felipe Massa's seat may be in danger by confirming the driver line-up will remain unchanged in 2012.

Drivers such as Mark Webber and Jenson Button had been linked to the seat but di Montezemolo moved to quash those rumours on Tuesday.

"Massa and Alonso always bring something more," di Montezemolo told Sky Sports Italia. "Alonso is super, Massa is coming back: I think the drivers are not a problem. This is the time for gossip, but next year's drivers will remain Alonso and Massa."

Let the bum :cloud9: bashing :whip: begin

He's getting in for the fight... not for the win ;)

Haha I like how Massa is using soft tyres in Q1 nowadays in qualifying, very useful feedback for Alonso who will be using them in a few minutes for Q2.

Why would Ferrari let go of Massa again? :D

actually Lewis was ahead on count back! :P

Finished: past tense! Using the same logic that you and other Alonso fans have put forward McLaren should have put all effort behind Hamilton as he had the better chance at the end there. But can't have that, Spain's FiA rep asked for a fair play tsar! Unheard of in the sport, can you imagine Brazil doing the same after Germany last year? As long as everything's Alonsos way it's ok!

AKR well said, true honest tifosa!

Hammer I was thinking the same thing, he is Alonsos guinea pig! :hehe:

You missed it entirely, you're way off! You can call it trolling all you like, just because it hit a nerve with you. End of the day everything posted in here in defense of Ferrari favoring Alonso is what I'm talking about, it's on topic but if you see otherwise then so be it. Dont call me a troll again! :nono:

Well, yeah I'm off because I was guessing.

So its hypocritical to defend Ferrari favouring Alonso?

It is when Alonso fans whinged at the so called favouring Lewis got whilst team mate to Alonso at McLaren.

Strange I thought McLaren insisted they treated their drivers equally. Their decision isn't it? Nothing to do with how Ferrari want to manage their drivers.

Separated by what? Yeah the gap from Alonso to Massa is really comparable when deciding if you want to make a number 1 or number 2. Just because one supports the death penalty, doesn't mean they support it in every case, you see what I'm getting at here?

Truth is though, driver management for Mclaren was really screwed up in 2007, complete breakdown in their relationships. It's easier to manage when your drivers aren't constantly close isn't it?

Regardless, the reason I supported Alonso being favoured is because it believe it was the best decision for the team. And I think it turned out to be a good one. Ferrari weren't able to fight for the WCC, but they had a shot at the WDC, and by favouring Alonso that turned into a really good opportunity.

Back on topic, its really the same reason I'm not too happy with Massa being confirmed for next year, I think there are other drivers who could do a better job.
