You missed it entirely, you're way off! You can call it trolling all you like, just because it hit a nerve with you. End of the day everything posted in here in defense of Ferrari favoring Alonso is what I'm talking about, it's on topic but if you see otherwise then so be it. Dont call me a troll again!
Well, yeah I'm off because I was guessing.
So its hypocritical to defend Ferrari favouring Alonso?
It is when Alonso fans whinged at the so called favouring Lewis got whilst team mate to Alonso at McLaren.
Want equal treatment in that instance even when Hamilton had a better shot at the title, your own words.. it makes sense to put all effort behind the guy with the best chance at the title.
Strange I thought McLaren insisted they treated their drivers equally. Their decision isn't it? Nothing to do with how Ferrari want to manage their drivers.
Separated by what? Yeah the gap from Alonso to Massa is really comparable when deciding if you want to make a number 1 or number 2. Just because one supports the death penalty, doesn't mean they support it in every case, you see what I'm getting at here?
Truth is though, driver management for Mclaren was really screwed up in 2007, complete breakdown in their relationships. It's easier to manage when your drivers aren't constantly close isn't it?
Regardless, the reason I supported Alonso being favoured is because it believe it was the best decision for the team. And I think it turned out to be a good one. Ferrari weren't able to fight for the WCC, but they had a shot at the WDC, and by favouring Alonso that turned into a really good opportunity.
Back on topic, its really the same reason I'm not too happy with Massa being confirmed for next year, I think there are other drivers who could do a better job.
