Look at the changes in the slowest times as well as the fastest
Its interesting that NH has set the fastest time of all and yet he is now the slowest. However, it goes to show that this is just testing and, ultimately, does not mean too much, the cars are not in race or qualy trim.
Force India doing well.

His 2nd time was probably a test if a new idea that didnt work! But look at him when he had the same car and not some dodgy aero piece or do all believe him to be a 3.5 seconds of the pace?

when he was fastest he was using slicks so he had more grip :p

the cars arent set up correctly yet wait another month to see some good times

Remember now, Super Aguri were setting good times in pre-seaon tests for 2007 and also Minardi were fastest in 1999's tests. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. :)

Today nick heidfeld was 9ths slower than kubica, this was due to heidfeld running a much higher level of down force (source live F1). Previously nick had been evaluating a new idea which was found to be no use. This is why he was 20th yesterday.
