And for Hamilton.

We could see some more excitement coming from Hamilton soon.

Why would Hamilton care what the drinks company have to say, when hes been offered drives for life with Mclaren, a drive with Ferrari, and is on the wishlist of Mercedes.

Not to mention Horner called him a wonderful driver.

Because that drinks company are leading the championships, and won it last year.

Doesnt make sense, there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest Hamilton took this as bad news, or an insult.

Right, so Hamiltons taken his long term Mclaren contract, the team Prost, Lauda, Senna, Hakkinen, won titles for, knows Ferrari will want him the moment Alonso isnt driving for them anymore, and hes supposed to break down in hysterics because Christian Horner TP of the team that only Vettel has won a title for, called him a wonderful driver and suggested two top drivers doesnt work in reality.

Right.

Right.

Stop being so damn melodramatic and sensitive again, thats not what I said at all, is it?

Redbull are just a drinks company implies their completely unrelated to f1, thats not the case, this comment has some relevancy to Hamilton who's quite consistently proved he's easily wound up.

Il be as melodramatic and sensitive in the future as long as your needlessly personal, that card is played too much. Ive just been hounded out of my argument, ah yes my knight in shining armour, the "calm down" response or " sheesh someones in a bad mood" response, its annoying and tiresome and cringeworthy how often thats used as a get out of jail free card. Focus on the actual points of posts.

Anyway.....Hamilton, and i quote (i can give you this source).......; " Firstly i dont read the papers, and i dont read the stories. Erm, i am told, before i go into these kind of things ( press interview) whats been said, erm, i find it kind of funny, what you know, some, some people, im not really sure if anything actually really....cares about what some of those people are talking about, or their opinions. For me i dont let any outside negativity or stories affect me"

That Twitter incident? Having to talk to the stewards, have his team discuss strategy with him mid-race.

Well what was the point of misinterpreating what I said,

and hes supposed to break down in hysterics because Christian Horner TP of the team that only Vettel has won a title for, called him a wonderful driver and suggested two top drivers doesnt work in reality.

I'll either object to you doing it, or I think in future, if your still going to do it, I'll just ignore you.

Twitter aside the latter two every driver does. Hardly any reasoning to say he is consistently razzled by comments.

I dont get what your getting at with that response?

You also said Hamilton is PROVEN to not cope with the media frenzy or what have you, i included that in my response, the fact that it cant be proven, and infact can be disproven with my quote of Lewis' speaks enough really.

It just seems like clutching at unexisting straws with Lewis Hamilton, its too hard to find something to call him out on.

[Blinky McSquinty]

Blaming Lewis is a load of bullocks.

But to maintain that the McLaren was uncompetitive last year flies in the face of reality. Exactly one year ago, after the European GP, Lewis Hamilton led with 127 points, then Jenson Button 121, Sebastian Vettel 115, Mark Webber 103, Fernando Alonso 98. The manufacturer's standings were McLaren–Mercedes 248, Red Bull–Renault 218, Ferrari 165, Mercedes 109, and Renault with 89 points. Both McLaren drivers were first and second in the points, the manufacturer was leading everyone else.

So some <EDITED FOR CONTENT> NO NEED TO USE PERSONAL INSULTS!
expects me to believe that McLaren was uncompetitive last year? Get real.

[Hammer278]

Pity for a few Ferrari fans they have nothing to bleat about now, instead they pick on Hamilton and glorify Vettel/Redbull to make themselves feel better.

Again, I emphasize a few Ferrari fans. Not all.

Has it occurred to you yet that the Redbulls were clearly faster than the McLarens throughout the season....though their unreliability and stupid driver errors prevented them from dominating....from the start?

It doesn't automatically mean Redbull didn't have the best car on average, through 2010.

[Blinky McSquinty]

It doesn't automatically mean Redbull didn't have the best car on average, through 2010.

Of course Red Bull had the best overall team last year. Do you think Kimi won his title with the best car and team? In 1976 the best car and driver was Ferrari and Lauda. But Hunt won. Sometimes the best car and driver don't win, but instead the honors fall to the most competitive. There are countless examples of when Schumacher or Senna, heck even Fangio and Nuvolari raced in cars that weren't the best, but they overcame it all and exceeded all expectations.

Anyways, these word games are illogical, I was stating that the 2010 McLaren was competitive, not best.

I'll meet you half-way, I agree the 2010 Mclaren wasn't the best, can you agree that it was competitive?

[bud]

Lewis wants what Seb has, a car that he can consistently put on pole and then breeze to a win. He has never really had it that easy in his F1 career. 07 08 was close, but the Ferrari was just as competitive in those seasons and the packages of each team would sea saw in terms of which one was faster depending on race tracks.
RedBull and Seb are having a dream run that is hard to achieve in F1.
