Ive just been hounded out of my argument, ah yes my knight in shining armour, the "calm down" response or " sheesh someones in a bad mood" response, its annoying and tiresome and cringeworthy how often thats used as a get out of jail free card. Focus on the actual points of posts.

Exactly one year ago, after the European GP, Lewis Hamilton led with 127 points, then Jenson Button 121, Sebastian Vettel 115, Mark Webber 103, Fernando Alonso 98. The manufacturer's standings were McLaren–Mercedes 248, Red Bull–Renault 218, Ferrari 165, Mercedes 109, and Renault with 89 points. Both McLaren drivers were first and second in the points, the manufacturer was leading everyone else.

Has it occurred to you yet that the Redbulls were clearly faster than the McLarens throughout the season....though their unreliability and stupid driver errors prevented them from dominating....from the start?

Of course Red Bull had the best overall team last year. Do you think Kimi won his title with the best car and team? In 1976 the best car and driver was Ferrari and Lauda. But Hunt won. Sometimes the best car and driver don't win, but instead the honors fall to the most competitive. There are countless examples of when Schumacher or Senna, heck even Fangio and Nuvolari raced in cars that weren't the best, but they overcame it all and exceeded all expectations.

Anyways, these word games are illogical, I was stating that the 2010 McLaren was competitive, not best.

Lewis wants what Seb has, a car that he can consistently put on pole and then breeze to a win. He has never really had it that easy in his F1 career. 07 08 was close, but the Ferrari was just as competitive in those seasons and the packages of each team would sea saw in terms of which one was faster depending on race tracks.
RedBull and Seb are having a dream run that is hard to achieve in F1.
