I cannot think of another 'sport' where such un-disguised bias exists from it's governing body.
I think the FIA have plumbed new depths with the farcical hearing involving Renault and McLaren. There will doubtless be hoards of red fans whooping with joy that their arch rival has once again been kicked royally in the balls, but think on..... how can it possibly benefit anyone to have this constant bias against a rival?
It truly devalues any success they have because the playing field is never level. I appreciate that everyone loves their own team and defends them normally no matter what, but even the most in-articulate halfwit must be able to see the point I'm making?
If I was Ron Dennis I would be sorely tempted to tell the FIA and Adolf Moseley to stick their so called 'sport' up their rectums and walk away. Of course it'll never happen because there's so much big money involved.
Now before all you people start bleating on about McLaren being sore losers etc etc (yawn yawn heard it all before), all I am arguing for is a corruption free governing body and a level playing field where crimes and punishments are concerned.
If the FIA can impose such a massive fine with little or no proof of any advantage being gained... why doesn't that rule follow on less than three months later? And, of course it's far from the first time that McLaren (or more accurately Ron Dennis I believe) have been subject of unfair, unjust and simply corrupt looking decisions.
I can honestly say I would think this way even if I wasn't a McLaren fan. The whole 'sport' sucks. Big Time.
If anyone can name another sport where this kind of un-even-handed-ness exists, I would love to hear about it. I bet no one can name one.
