So far Vettel has made domination we all know that.In a news i have read that when they gave the example of decreasing interest during Schumacher's domination,Bernie thinks this isnt boring instead this increases the interest of fans.Because people try to guess ''Who will beat Vettel?''.''That is different than Schumacher's times'' he adds.''The challenges Vettel gets is more than Michaels.So he takes more interest.Thats why i cant see any reasons why vettel cant win the victories schumi did in Ferrari.'' He says Vettel is like John Rindt-1970 WDC also Bernie was his manager-

Whats your opinion about this?

I think that any season where one driver dominates makes the sport a little boring; last season was so great is because we had no idea who would win the WDC until the end of the final race, this season is almost a foregone conclusion with Vettel's form and the bulletproof reliability that modern F1 cars have, at least in Schumacher dominance; engines did fail...

Bernie would find excitement in a night's sleep where he didn't get up to pee once or twice. :hehe: If he's saying that then it's purely PR speak, after all this is the guy that's suggested artificial rain and shortcuts to add "spice" to the sport. I wonder if he did get his way with the artificial rain, if they'd then have the safety car parade them around for 5 or 6 laps until it was dry enough.

As long as the general racings fine im not bothered by dominant wins, thats part and parcel how F1 works.

The only two problems i have with F1 are;

The lack on consistency and harshness(stupidness) of stewarding decision, sometimes i buy into the FIArrari crap with some of the blatant seeming bias decisions, thats one problem

The second, the devolution of cars, i wasnt watching but i look at 2003s pole laps.....My god........All this cost saving in F1 is a total joke, whilst arab investors are offering half a million a week to football players to sign for their club. F1 is acting morally superior when its really not, not least cause im charged an arm and ******* leg to go to a race, and even then im packed like a sardine!
They have the technology in the historical database to go back to early 2000 spec cars, brutal whines, immense top speeds, and despite how fast F1 cars are still now the engines are nice sounding but weak in comparison and theyre going to get smaller. Sort it out, let the sport evolve.

I think this years been brilliant. Fair enough, Vettel's won 6 outta 8 races and is almost without a doubt gonna win the championship. But we've had 4 races this year where the winner was decided in the last few laps. China, Spain, Monaco and Canada. We'd usually only ever get one or two races that good a year, and we've had 4 already. Personally I can deal with the fact that championship battle is pretty much over simply because the races themselves have been just so good.

He deserves to dominate. The other drivers must try and stop him. Simple as that.

He drives better.

I don't agree; he doesn't drive better; I believe that the likes of Hamilton, Button and Alonso are just as good; the difference is the Red Bull car; which is head and shoulders above the rest of the cars on the grid! I'm willing to bet that if Hamilton, or Button or Alonso or even Rosberg was driving a Red Bull; they'd be way out in front as well!

He drives better.

Credit where its due, and im not just saying it cause i have to;

I believe Vettel is deservING of dominating with his driving so far this season, and as its only this season hes dominating, fine by me :D , nobody deserves anything, not Hamilton not Vettel not nobody.*

He may of earnt it but i dont think he did so anymore then a lot of drivers on the grid, some that cant impress cause their car is too rubbish, he may be driving better but then its very easy for him to do so with the great car hes got, hes certainly driving better then Chinman in the sister car.

* They we compliments to Vettels driving btw vlad, from me no less!

I guess it's too early to say the championship is over. But as we see the gap getting bigger race by race, and the domination of adrian's cars continue, this season is getting less and less exciting. especially after the narcotic valencia...
I couldn't care less about whos gonna come second in the championship,it's pathetic...

No. He doesn't. His car's better.

Whilst I don't like the short lifespan of the tyres, KERS or DRS this season is pretty good. It helps that the guy I'm cheering for is winning but it would still be pretty good if he wasn't winning.

MrE is concerned with the entertainment value of F1. With more "passing" through DRS, Vettel running rings round everyone else and Hamilton crashing everytime the wind changes direction (incidently, it was flat calm in Valencia and the walls around the track provide quite a bit of shelter :hehe: ) there is entertainment right through the field, which of course will attract new fans and maybe attract back some folks who gave up on F1.

On one hand, a driver dominating can be boring. On the other hand, as a F1 fan I am just happy to see someone driving extremely well and performing at the top of their game.

During the Schumacher domination (loved it!) I was very happy at being able to witness F1 legend being made. Although I have been watching F1 for my whole life, I wasn't really paying too much attention for the 1st 10 years, so I can't remember watching the Prost/Senna battles live, though can watch them thanks to the wonder of t'internet. Other than that, most of the F1 legend spoken about was before my time. Because of this, I am happy to see someone at the top of their game and if it's boring, well tough - I'm getting to see F1 legend being written my lifetime.

That's put a positive spin on the Vettel domination. Everybody happy now! :D

I think this season is just to tyre related,having cars come into the pits after 9 laps is silly.It's a busy pit lane with tyres going off far to quick.Your either a sitting duck or flying round.The tyre issue really needs addressing .

For me the DRS is a good thing as long as the balance is right and overtaking isn't to easy,something that will need tweaking,that is very understandable.

It's more busy that exciting.Having the one red bull so far ahead isn't helping.

So to sum up,I don't think its a season that will live long in the memory,but we are starting to see overtaking back in the sport,its just a case of getting the balance right :hehe:
