I think it suggests the exact opposite.
The biggest argument in Jenson's favour in this case is that he never deviated from the racing line, he acted like he would have if Hamilton wasn't there at all. I'm still surprised the move turned out the way it did, in this case I think Hamilton could've expected his track position to be "acknowledged".
I'll guess we'll never know, but the line at the moment is "Jenson didn't see him", and I guess only Jenson knows if it really was the truth or not. Him shouting "What was he doing", suggests he was genuinely surprised to see Lewis there.
