Having seen the Canadian Grand Prix I wondered what changes we would make given the chance.
I think there should be only 3 engine suppliers,Cosworth,Ferrari & Renault.
Each team has 3 cars which includes the spare,
each car must be used over the weekend and no 2 cars in the same team can have the same choice of engine.
Upgrades should only be allowed midway through the season so all teams have the same opportunity to make their changes,
it would also give all teams a real incentive to be more inventive.
A quota system introduced so that there are more curves and fewer elongated straights.
Also a spending limit to help keep a lid on the sprialling costs, bigger teams can throw money at a problem but the smaller teams have to literally fight to survive. Vehicle parts left over at the end of the season are to be included into the new vehicle design of the following season.

You realize if you make 2 cars in the same team have different engines, that would cost more than anything else, because they would have to hold multiple contracts. It also makes no real sense. I also don't know why Mercedes is banend from having engines under your rules but lol-cosworth can stay around, when the mercs have been creating engines for racing longer than them. Tracks already have curves out the bottom.

i also don't know why "after watching" the Canadian gp has anything to do with changing stuff. That was one of the most exciting races the sport has had in a long time. Unless you particular hate on mercs.
