I wonder if Ferrari got caught out there, Ted said that they were planning to do three fast runs for the tyres (hence Ferrari doing a racing pitstop), and both Ferrari's crossed the line (and took the chequered flag) just after the session timer ran out, maybe Ferrari were intending to do another fast lap there. Unlikely, admittedly.
Massa being so close to Alonso, suggests the car is performing well again, it seems when the Ferrari is genuinely struggling it shows most in Massa's performances (sliding, lock up etc.), and the gap between him and Alonso opens up.
Webber said he didn't have kers again, and Horner stated that redbull were going to work on their kers again between quali and the race.
Lets see what happens with the McLaren's choosing a wet setup, the other teams didn't seem too bothered, and the drivers didn't seem too positive. Initially I thought it was a good call, starting to doubt that now, lets see what happens - if it rains after all.
Not a good weekend for Sauber, surprised they didn't bring a reserve driver in tow, unless they genuinely would prefer Rosa to their usual third driver?
Force India seem decent, all things considered.
It's looking like a scrap between Mercedes and Renault
