I also thought Hammy was 'rightfully' at fault but after watching it again....I beg to differ.
How come no one is seeing how Massa turned in early order off the racing purposely trying to cut out Hamilton's overtake? In this situation, if there's contact, the guy behind is at fault. Massa can claim he was essentially pulling the same move on the guy in front...trying to overtake as well. What many are not seeing is also Massa's defense of the position; he turns left once and then another sharp left again to seal off the apex.[Remeber you can't move twice to defend?] Hamilton outbraked him and he knew it....only way to defend at that point is to get contact.....which will alwyays favor the front driver in terms of punishment. To me Massa played dirty and won....that's the game...Hammy should have known better. Karma is a bitch though...
Just watching the re-run what the hell was Lewis thinking about trying that move on Massa pure stupidity.
