Going back on topic, I think that although it makes no sense to compare, it is interesting to see how drivers "inherited" from Senna, and also from Schumacher, this thing about becoming a real athlete, and not just a guy who happened to drive fast cars on the weekends.

In that sense, all drivers have that in common with Senna. :)

Hey! Kimi wasn't 'just a guy'! He was epic. :drink::hehe:

I think Hamilton is close but not quite as good, as Bendover said it is silly comparing skillsets. I suppose it just boils down to talent, I can honestly say they are both more talented than me behind the wheel lol. I would like to see where Hamilton would be now, if it was not for the McLaren backing to see say for sure one way or the other. Ayrton (by luck or judgement) did not arrive in the best car on the grid, as Martin Brundle had beat him to the good seat as he had beat Ayrton the year before in F3 (I think it was). So when he got a top car he had already been broken in. Lewis got broken in next to a 2 time world champion in a top car.

Oh, that's classic. Another mod in here kicking off the personal attacks. I say Hamster and get a warning for insulting a driver and yet you hamilton love bunny mods just keep looking for a fight. What's wrong skippy, not enough drama in your life? The moderation on this board is a joke.

Bill please accept my apology, at the time of posting I was also chatting to my mate Ben who was waiting for his ferry to Calais. He was sat in Dover at the time. It was a slip of the mind. again I apologise.
