What a stupid name. We are the only damn country that is afraid to show any pride any more. Might as well call it the Circuit of Poltitcally Neutral names.

But, I least it is actually starting to come togather. I rather have a stupid name than no circuit at all.

Er, what, you'd do well to read up on the backgrounds of foreign countries my friend, your practical the only country that can show pride, apparently American flags outweigh American people in America. Might take a week of driving to find someone flying a British flag, and the Germans aren't allowed by law to be proud.

Please dont act like your hard done by.

Sounds too international. If that makes sense...

I was expecting something to do with the location or a sponsor.

It just wont sound right when a driver does an interview and says: "The cicuit of the americas is a great track, really love sector 2 here, i think it will suit our car well".

Just doesnt work if you ask me :-?

Yes.

You have apparently missed the point, it's about unity.

At least Red Mc Combs did not name it after himself

I would have prefered something related to Texas

Yet that would have been percieved as more 'arrogant' (than has already been mentioned) because the 'pot called the kettle black'. Glass house's continue to shatter with bias and arrogance.

No it does not make sense and borders a biased opinion/outlook.

It sounds pretty bad and I agree that a name like that is rather pompous and also suggests this track has stood for 50 years or so. I hope the drivers/teams don't abbreviate it to COTA either that just sounds too corporate.

You will enjoy F1 more when you rid yourself of all the trivial :bs: you percieve as relevant and just concentrate on the racing.
