Raises the question, if this had been between massa and alonzo would the stewards had spoken up? Or would they just let the team decide to give positions back?

I think theyd have pretended they hadnt seen it.

Well they probably would, but all Ferrari have to do is say we were going to switch them anyway, or ask the leading driver to not give the place back, which means the driver who cut the corner to get past didn't really gain an advantage, what the stewards would do then I don't know.
