I'm just curious as to what he means - I have an inkling, but it's a weird way of putting it...

Well is your inkling that there are other fast young potential champions out there to be found? Thats the way i read it.

Yeah, but what an odd way of saying it. :cyclops:

It may be a popular colloquial saying back in Mateschitz's hometown?

I mean, if it was an Aussie saying "he made a good fist of it" and it was reported in the Philippines it would probably come out as "nagsenyas sha ng kamao" and I'm sure lots of Filipinos would scratch their heads and wonder why that was said.

Even the best translations can confuse or be misunderstood.

I'm fairly familiar with the German language (after all it was my first mother tongue growing up), but I've never heard anything like that or even remotely related. But then again, Austrians are weird :P (Austrians are the Polish among the German-speaking crowd  ).

Like our Newfies?

It means Vettel is not the only hot chick in town.
There's Rosberg also :hehe:

Anyway... i'm sure the minute Vettel leaves Red Bull they are able to find a superb replacement (assuming he doesnt grab Newey along with him). Who wouldnt want to drive that Red Bull??

So yeah... there are more mothers with beautiful daughters... and they can cook. :)

I dunno, I really don't see it as a 'plenty more fish in the sea' type comment.

To me it looks more like an acceptance that Vettel could be lured to another team if the move looked attractive enough

That's how I saw it. It really doesn't make sense any other way. Though, I think there are more Father's with beautiful daughters would make more sense as every team principle is a man.

Huh? How the heck do Australians come into this??? We're talking about Mateschitz, an Austrian citizen. I'd like some of what you're smoking... :hippy:

It's Manica.....she's not hot...at all. And she has a big boyish chin

A bit harsh :D
