I like to keep my good deeds between the recipient and myself.

Came out fighting indeed.
Discuss the sport you love with other motorsport fans
That was a very generous and kind thing too do Denthúl. Now before this thread recieves anymore irrelevant post or post concerning animals although I am a huge animal lover and have two rescues myself I would like to keep the topic on human to human jestures of kindness, please
.
(I will adjust the thread topic so 'others' is not mistaken for anything else but our fellow man and woman.)
My reason for starting this thread was to show that although we as a world population are in turmoil we still care about others and alitte kindness goes along way. I have given money to the homeless, fed them and participated in Meals on Wheels and nothing helps keep one centered more than helping others regardless of their situation, if I am in a position to help someone less fortunate or in dispair I just jump at the chance to make even the smallest difference if even for just one day.
I think you missed the plot.
I was being daft

Same here...
This is another recent example of something I was involved in, although I was by no means the biggest contributor. Still, it felt nice to help out a fellow forum member and gamer. It's a very long read, but honestly it's just amazing to see the power that ordinary people can have, and what an inspiration that people with disabilities can be, especially when they show great determination to do the things they enjoy the most.

Get yourselves a cup of tea and read through it. With any luck, it will carry on and there will be more results to come of it.
Edit: Just in case anyone wants to know, I'm JHeaton on there.

Tried to save someones life doing CPR whilst waiting for an ambulance and failed sadly...Poor man, 43 years old and was playing in a charity football match. He'd been undergoing chemo for cancer and hadn't yet been given the all clear, and also was told not to exert himsef. He was determined he wanted to play for the charity so went against medical advice. Must have been about 30 minutes into the game and he just collapsed and never came back around. Ambulance was called immediately, and took probably around 5-10 minutes to arrive, I was doing CPR the whole time with no response whatsoever. Paramedics took over as soon as they got to us, but no success. They said afterwards he was probably dead before he even hit the ground and nothing would have saved him...
