ah thanks, im not right very often! yeah there are weaknessess in both sides and like the f1 this year its going to go to the final test in sydney!, and i can understand as a groundsman they will be trying to make the pitches pacey and with bounce

I said tea because I didn't want to look like a fool, the morning session is only two hours I believe, England could survive two hours (I'd hope ).

I thought about this comment when I saw the remaining five wickets fell in 50 minutes, what an embarrassment, I still believe England can win the series, this is their best chance since the time of Ian Botham, the English batsmen just need to adjust their style of play to suit a more bouncy wicket, let's hope they are not a one trick pony!

Yea I heard this week that they have changed their mind on what actual wicket to use.Fair play that's what home advantage is for.Wouldn't like to bet who will win the series,at least its interesting.

according to the head groundsman at the mcg, he said in the press conference that he hadnt prepared the pitch in a different way to normal and he hadnt spoke to anyone in cricket australia since the winter time in aus, should be a cracking game though come on england!

Couldn't believe it when I woke up and see the score this morning.Well looks like the ashes are coming back home with us .Had heard before the series that this ground would suite England ,but wow didn't think that much.
I'm not even sure England can throw this one away now,although if anyone can it's us lol.

Congrats to England on retaining the Ashes for the first time since the 1980's.

Given that Australia won it from 1989-2004 unbroken, I honestly believe its good for the game for the Poms to have a winning streak.

For sure this will change the way the Australian cricket team is selected and managed.

It's only took 24 years for it to happen but finally the Ashes have been retained by England! I imagine that the headlines this morning haven't been very complimentary of Ricky Ponting and his team! Now let's see if England can win or draw the final test to claim the series win.

Well done England! Thoroughly deserved win and also well deserved to retain the Ashes. Could consider themselves a little unlucky not to have won the series already.

Hopefully the Aussies will put up a better show and at least draw the series with a win in Sydney.
