I have several guys work under me (oh err) and though I like some more than others,
Oh I would sooo love to be one of those under you .
Some Ferrari fans would like people to believe that Ron was favoring Lewis to allow them to feel better about their own teams dubious and illegal team orders.
Yeah , those Ferrari fans have some nerve . Mclaren would never use team orders . Like when DC let Mika by those times , that was just good clean racing . It's only cheating if Ferrari does it . I just don't understand why some people don't get it . :?

1997 European GP - Hakkinen had had alot of bad luck (Silverstone '97 for example) and was in need of a win to get the monkey off his back. I have to say the whole race was a masterclass in team orders as McLaren and Williams ganged up on Ferrari...

1998 Australian GP - That was a personal agreement between the two of them, so as far as I know McLaren had nothing to do with this.

Other than these two events, I don't think DC and Mika ever had team orders.

And the agreement was whoever led into the first corner first would win the race, and when DC was all out in front, everybody slagged him off for "shooting himself in the foot" by letting Hakkinen by.

Him and his country, him and his damn government have harped on for months about how the team was bias against him. McLaren, Ron Dennis and the people of Great Britain have been labled racist by SPanish ministers.....Ferrari fans and the team itself have laughed lengthily because of Alonso's claims that McLaren are as dubious as the team from Italy.....

Great sig. Your quote from the late great James Hunt is fantastic. A shame the current commentators aren't as forthcoming with their opinions about foreigners as good old James was.
