I cant believe all this crap Im reading!! Why should Barrichelo move over at the beginning of the season? Why should Massa move over for his highness halfway through the season? This is motor racing!! Cant win on your own? Tough titty!! Get better. Good on you Barrichelo. Good on you Massa and Smedley. Ferrari....Hire drivers who can fight on their own not whinge babies.

Ok its Friday,I've felt crap all week and still do. Rant over

Because it's considered a breach of contract: you're hired to do what the company tells you to. If you don't then it will have consequences. If you make a public stink about your sorry little ego not being mollycoddled enough and therefore by your actions throw a bad light on your company and it becomes a PR nightmare, well then you are a douch who should get fired (which he did).

The only sorry little ego belongs to Schumacker not Barrichelo. If the comnpany doesnt want a PR nightmare it should play fair with its employees.

What's not fair about it? One gets hired as the news anchor, the other as the camera man - would you want the ugly mug of the camera man serve you the daily news while the pretty anchor can't keep the ugly mug in focus with his jittery hands?

Those jittery hands were so jittery they went faster than that news anchor. News anchor needed propping up. Good job they had a decent camera man on board.

Yeah, it's called team work - unfortunately RB still hasn't learned that there's no 'I' in team - douch! :banghead:

Wow what a title, definitely got me to read it! Lol

If it's true that it was in RB's contract then he really shouldn't be complaining about it anymore. The whole story would be nice

As for Massa, it's sad that he had to make that pass so obvious but I can't blame Ferrari. Perhaps if Massa had been soing better than i may be more upset. When it comea down to it, F1 is a team sport and should be startegized as one. Team orders have always been around and it's a bit ridiculous to try to ban them from the sport.

You pick the wrong drivers to label egotists.

Well actually you are the one who brought Lewis into this discussion not I and the proper spelling is AGAIN not AGEN, two countries divided right :wink: . Hmm what you had written in ANOTHER THREAD, why would that be relevant to THIS THREAD??

Oh and the large bold text is so last season  .

Well, the team was called Team Ferrari-Schumacher and not Team Barrichello-Ferrari :P

Actually it was YOU who brought Lewis in, with this uncalled for comment:-

Your so naive it's pathetic! I'll bet you your mod status that if Lewis was concerned you would be singing a different tune, tell me I'm wrong and I will prove you a liar!!!

I know how to spell again.

Why it was relevant is because the same thing was being discussed; team rules.

Large bold text may be last season but its still required when people consistently fail to see what is written.

Us Brits? Careful Tex.

Bit uncalled for to generalize all the British users of the forum don't you think? :nono:

When I see RB I keep thinking we're talking about Red Bull. :hehe: I find it interesting - I was having a debate about this last night over drinks with a colleague. Here is the fact: Rubens Barichello was always going to be a number 2 driver. I didn't watch him in his Ferrari days, but even a Brawn I could see his performances in a beast of a car were nowhere near as good as Button's.

Considering I don't really rate Button as much of a driver....:wavey:

Later that year, Schumacher pulled over for Barichello to win the USA GP. So it was 1-1 - or is everyone going to kick up a s*** fight about Schumacher playing a supporting role to Barichello?

Look - once Barichello got the job done and Schumacher had the world championship, Schumy was fine to just take it easy and give Barichello a few results. When Barichello would take the lead at races later that year, Schumacher wouldn't challenge him.

The fact that it resulted in the FIA (whom many dub Ferrari International Assistance) banning team orders is pathetic. And from what I've seen, Schumacher and Ferrari had their fair share of punishment whenever Schumacher or the team would cross the line.

I know the solution; give Tex and RC western style pistols, meet at dawn... you know the rest... ;)

But I agree with RC; it's supposed to be motor racing not synchronised driving! My dislike of team orders has been well publicised on this here forum!!!
