For me; it seems odd to have the gear stick on the right, I'm used to driving with my left hand on the gearstick and right hand on the wheel, I'm not sure I could drive a manual here in the US; it just feels odd with my right hand on the gear stick, even holding the wheel with my left hand seems completely unnatural!
never made sense to me, majority of people are right handed, logically youd want the right hand on the wheel at all times!

Wow, imagine your first time driving on the other side, make a bit of a mistake and forget which side of the road you're meant to be on and having to make an emergency stop with the pedals round the wrong way!

really?? i would think its easier to steer than it is to shift precisely, i sometimes even steer with my knees (kids, don't try this at home) also, the same with accel/decel, i think it takes a bit more precision to both these actions, while the clutch is sometimes not even used. There's a nice resting spot for the lazy left foot on auto trans. Also, turning the ignition with the left
