Come on akr, Vettel's not that good, you want him in the McLaren, that way he can randomly drive into people now and then, losing McLaren constructors points, heck he might even take out Lewis.

He thought he was taking out Hamilton when he crashed into Button... FACT!!! :P

It's definitely more likely that Vettel will go to Ferrari; after all they pay the most on the grid! Do drivers really go to Ferrari for the Marque or the money? I think the later!

One year's pay at Ferrari is one career's pay at another F1 team. Or we could both be completely wrong and they just really really dig the way they look in red overalls.

There is genuinely a lot of history and passion with Ferrari, why did Alonso learn Italian (of course its possible he just learnt it incidentally), plus their a good bet to produce championship winning cars.

You mean, they actually get paid to drive those Ferraris??!!

Alonso spent some time racing karts in Italy, probably learnt it then. He also knows french, i have heard him speak often in French during the Michelin times...

I'm sure Alonso went to Ferrari because after Mclaren, there was only one place left to go. he tried going before, but there was something about Jean Todt and so on... so he went to Mclaren. Who knows.

If it were me, i'd go just for the overalls. And the food.
i bet Ferrari's cooking service is the best of the paddock :)

Now that's something we can agree on.

There will be a few days during the season that I'll feel like Indian food though. :D

If you listen to the way a lot of past and present drivers talk about them you'd probably actually go for the first option there...! Same as McLaren (to a lesser extent). Barrichello even said it was an honour to drive for Williams given their history, even if they aren't championship challengers at the moment.

I'm pretty sure Alonso went to Ferrari to piss Ron Dennis off, he was a McLaren fan growing up apparently.

Depends what your main driving force is. Once you're earning in millions of pounds a year.......there's a limit to how much you can spend in a lifetime. I dont think all drivers want to drive for Ferrari.

Having said that i would lurve my car to be a red or yellow ferrari!

It must not ever happen, it wont ever happen. If he ever leaves Red Bull, his destination will be at Ferrari where only there will he be able to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Michael Schumacher.

hahaha akr is on it now!!, it must not ever happen :hehe: who are you? the empire leader or something?! :hehe:

Yes. Yes she is.

*LOL* :D Funny.

AKR is still on a high from the results at Monza.

I don't think she needs to relax for longevity, on the contrary another high double podium finish for Ferrari this weekend and she won't survive the partying.

I love the way you think. As for the Monza aftermath, well I was ummmm totally trashed. But it felt soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.
