All Alonso's problem is his head, hes mighty fast in the races and quick in quali as well. Maybe it was just the extra pressure from coming to Ferrari, I think Alonso feels he has to "earn" the respect there, and at Ferrari thats a lot of pressure.

Kubica's good, I'm not sure he's Alonso good. As for the No.1 No.2 thing, if Kubica can keep himself fairly reasonably in the title hunt, he won't have to pull over, Ferrari aren't stupid, they don't just tell one driver to drop the win for the sake of it.

Also, diddn't Ferrari support Massa over Kimi in 08? So how was Kimi their de-facto number 1 driver?

That was end of season support, not decideing early on support, very different animals! And i think Kubica cud easily be Alonso good, he hasnt had the car yet.

Yeah, but surely that suggests Ferrari were giving Massa and Kimi equal support at the start of the season? Unless of course Ferrari favoured Kimi, but Massa was so good he forced them to switch.

Kubica does not deserve Alonso as a teammate. Take that any way you want! :)

True. He deserves to be the no.1 of the team

Agreed again!
(Assuming you meant Kubica?)

Alonso and Kubica would dominate the WCC just like McLaren did in '07. Who cares who wins out of the two of them, you just know it'd be an epic battle.

It would be an awesome combination. If Alonso managed to rein in his petulance at being beaten now and again I might even enjoy it!

For all I care Massa can leave the sport all together because I don' t see him ever having a chance to win the wcc and wouldn't make a good champion, even though i've been waiting to hear the brazillian national anthem again.

Nooooo! :nono:

Damn, I was hoping for a Kubica, Raikonnen pairing at Renault.

Though Massa and Raikonnen at renault would be special as well.

You've got it, Alonso + Kimi? Although Massa was beating kimi, hmm, Alonso plus a motivated Kimi?

It bothers me that someone can't find "motivation" while getting paid millions with a capital M. Doesn't detract a bit from his driving, but in my opinion speaks volumes about a lack of professionalism.

I have always and still do question why people, er, question Raikkonen's motivation. Why?
