No, this is definitely not my idea, just posting an article which probably more heralds the start of the "silly rumours" season that carries anything factual. The link to the complete article is below.

Even with the top cockpits locked out for 2011, Formula One's silly season continues to run.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa and Renault's Robert Kubica have signed new contracts to stay with their respective teams not only next year but also in 2012.

But Televisio de Catalunya has reported that the respective Brazilian and Polish pair could swap race seats for 2011.

The move would see Massa, who has had a difficult season so far with Ferrari, race for Renault next year, freeing up Kubica to be Fernando Alonso's Ferrari teammate.

Meanwhile, Kubica's teammate Vitaly Petrov might leave Renault but remain powered by the French marque's engines in F1 next year.

That is the claim of the Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell, amid reports Enstone based Renault is still yet to decide if the Russian rookie is good enough to stay with the works team in 2011.

I dont think Kubica will understand when the message comes across the line that Fernando is faster than him. Hes not the type.

Kubica will kick his sorry bottom! Bring it on I say!

I don't put much credence in the article. As I said, probably more part of the silly season than any fact.

Fernando and Robert are good friends though.

I don't see how if they've already both signed contracts. But I'd like to see it happen.

Considering how Alonso has been doing, kicking his sorry bottom would greatly improve Ferrari's championship hopes, I'm happy.

Maybe there are too many toys in his pram and he feels uncomfortable...

I believe Massa is one of the top tier number two drivers going.
He showed what he can do knocking off some fastest lap times in Monza.
Massa is not going anywhere as he is a good soldier for Ferrari and they like him.
People seem to forget that he very easily could of been world champion a few years ago.
That sleezy move of you know who that crawled around letting Lewis have it still pisses me off.

More "Massa out" rumours ??
perhaps its time the rumours end and it actually does happen.
Dont think there would be any issue with Alonso and Kubica in the same team, apart for some major arse-whooping to everybody else.

I'll believe it when it happens. And worry about Alonso's toys when it happens.

Massa's seat is very tiny, Kubica wouldn't fit.

Ah... Danica patrick it is then!!
